About SAP Skills

35 production-tested skills for SAP technologies, enabling context-aware AI assistance for BTP, CAP, Fiori, ABAP, Analytics, HANA, and more.

What is it?

SAP Skills is a collection of 35 production-ready plugins that give AI coding assistants deep, accurate knowledge of SAP development. Each skill is a curated set of instructions, references, and templates that help AI tools understand SAP-specific patterns, frameworks, and best practices.

The skills cover the full SAP development stack: ABAP and CDS views, CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model), Fiori and SAPUI5, SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform), SAP HANA, analytics, and developer tooling. They are tested against real SAP systems and BTP environments.

Content is sourced directly from the open-source repository. Every skill ships as a SKILL.md file with YAML frontmatter, and many include agents, commands, MCP server configs, and code templates.

How the content is produced

Each skill is built from primary sources — the SAP Help Portal, the Capire CAP reference, the SAPUI5 Demo Kit, and the official CLIs and SDK documentation — then tested against live SAP systems and BTP environments. Every skill carries a version and a last-verified date so you can tell how current it is.

The same source-driven approach applies to the guides on this site. They are written to explain SAP concepts accurately and to stay useful as the platform evolves, which is why they are dated and updated rather than left to rot.
